My job

To gain a understanding of what this blog is, see http://www.myskypenglish.com/en/entry/view/200.

I work for an information technology.
I had been in charge of designing and making Japanese government's websites, but currently, I have to deal with designing and making mobile phones.

It involves analyzing a lot of existing phone systems and data, meeting with clients, preparing a lot of documents for mobile phone users, coding a lot of applications systems, testing the new system, as well as using computer a lot of time.

It is a job requireing a great deal of skill, and I have a lot of experience of making user-friendly systems, so I guess I am sufficiently qualified  for this position.

This is nine-to-six job, but actually, I work overtime everyday.

I'd love to do these kind of tasks because, my department and clients have an aim and a well-managed schedule, and I can always learn new things and improve my skills in my job.

Unfortunately, it is difficult for me to say that my current work environment is fine.

My current department and clients don't have any aims and schedules.
They say managing schedule is very difficult.

Many emproyees have to do overtime until the last train everyday because we don't know when clients would instruct us to tasks.

Some emproyees are on sick leave and I cover for them while they are off sick.
My previous department was same as my current one several years ago, but emproyees and clients were team up and have improved our work environment.
I really hope that my current department will be same as that.

And when I'm not busy, I also take a pert-time job and work in a restaurant on weekends.
I'm rather inexperienced than information technology job, but I've been doing that since I was student.
I have to mainly deal with preparing fish and making sushi.
I'm a sushi roll instructor, so sometimes I teach people recipes.
Most of the students are young parents who aren't work for food industry but they have little children and want to know how to make sushi for their children's lunchbox.

I guess my two jobs are quite different, but they both give me a lot of chances.
In the restaurant, I can see customers and talk with them directly, and know about mobile phones and softwares with an excellent reputation.
Also, a worker who can use a computer might be useful for the restaurant.
I'm glad to be able to contribute to my office and restaurant with my experiences.
