5 Tips in Business Writing

Business writing can be done in many forms today such as with writing memos, proposals, letters, contracts, and emails.  However, the key is to sound professional but not too insincere.

 

Here are 5 tips in business writing:

 

1) Use plain English (do not worry about using big words or sounding so professional)

 

2) Have a focus and use active words (do not write too many sentences of different things; keep your purpose)

 

3) Be clear (express your reason for writing this business letter as clear as possible)

 

4) Keep the result in mind (what is it that you want or are suggesting to your reader)

 

5) End the letter with "Regards" or "Sincerely"
